Judith DesBrisay
Judith’s art works emerge from a fascination with the Earth in all its forms; they reference the vital interplay of person and place. Her diverse art works include drawings, paintings, mixed media pieces, Art Resin explorations, and three dimensional installations.
Judith, a life-long art student, has created and exhibited visual art for thirty years: across Canada, in Chile, and Antarctica. She has a history of twenty-four solo exhibits and participation in over ninety group exhibits. In addition to having art works in many personal collections, Judith has selected works exhibited in the Permanent Collections of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario; at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH): the VGH/University of British Columbia Hospital Foundation, Vancouver, B.C. and at the Quesnel, B.C. Primary Care Clinic. Her paintings are within the Permanent Collections of the Penticton Art Gallery; Two Rivers Gallery, Prince George; and the Quesnel Art Gallery, British Columbia; and at the Casa de Cultura Museo, Antofagasta, Chile. |
