Covid-19 Artist Statement When this Covid -19 struck our community in early March 2020….I was at the beginning of my planting season in our greenhouse…Isolation is a new experience for all of us but always felt very lucky that I could be out doors in my cosy warm greenhouse tending to my wee plants….this continued till about 3 weeks ago when my planting was finished….
Painting during this time was difficult for me…I was not inspired nor excited about what was happening in our world…and so painted to escape this experience…these works of mine reflect my state of mind and uncertainty of what next…still I am in that place…. Listen to Maggie's Interview:
