Christa Krisman: Abstract Acrylic Mixed Media Art is like happiness - it is all inside. Memories of my travels or just images of the situations of my daily life are nestled into my work. Also nature is a perfect guidance, colour, shapes, forms and texture - a great inspiration. For me, it is the process that is important to my existence - to the work - to the stillness of my mind - the moment I allow my soul to take over the canvas - a moment of peace and quiet - a perfect moment - a new creation. |

Simonne Young: An Acrylic Impressionist Love of colour and travel has inspired her paintings. She captures her memories in amazing cityscapes. Her spontaneous and impulsive approach to painting allows her to follow emotions expressed into stylized creations. To achieve texture, she applies layers of saturated Acrylic paint. Applied and mixed with brush and palette knives directly on the canvas. Whenever she paints she experiences peace and wonder. |
